Our University Continues to Support Regional Farmers

​Our university's Agricultural Application and Research Center (TUAM) and Farmer Education Application and Research Center (ÇEUAM) teams provide scientific support to producers in the region.

Our University, which has undertaken important studies on regional development as a specialized university in the field of "High Value Added Agricultural Products", continues to guide farmers with its research centers.
In this context, a team led by TUAM Director Dr. Lecturer Ramazan Gürbüz and ÇEUAM Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmail Alaserhat visited the lands of our farmers.
The team, which came together with farmers in Melekli town of Iğdır, listened to the problems of the producers and offered solutions. In the meeting with the farmers, it was stated that TUAM and ÇEUAM's doors are always open and that technical and scientific support will always be provided.
Land and Crop Surveys Conducted
Following the meeting, the teams visited the fields to examine the corn and alfalfa crops and informed the farmers about the issues they should pay attention to.
Finally, our team, who also examined the apricot gardens, explained the methods of combating apricot pests and diseases in order to get more yield from apricots.
